Your Next Opportunity:

At Belgravia Leisure, we are proud to oversee a diverse workforce comprising approximately 6,500 individuals across our own teams and partner organisations. As a Payroll Officer, you will have the significant responsibility of overseeing the multi-entity, fortnightly payroll functions for a specific segment of this extensive workforce, consisting of approximately 1,000 employees. This includes managing payroll for our own dedicated teams as well as the employees of our esteemed client organisations who have entrusted Belgravia Leisure with their payroll and administrative needs. 

With your expertise in payroll management and keen attention to detail, you will accurately process and administer payroll, ensuring that all employees are compensated promptly and in compliance with payroll regulations. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately calculating and processing employee wages, salaries, bonuses, superannuation, and any other remuneration items
  • Creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records. This involves updating employee information, tracking leave balances, and managing any changes in employment status where applicable
  • Investigating and resolving any payroll discrepancies or errors in payroll calculations, ensuring prompt resolution and accurate adjustments
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll laws, regulations, and company policies

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

To be considered for this position, you should have prior demonstrated experience (ideally 2+ years) in performing high-volume payroll functions for organisations of a comparable size. You should also share our commitment to providing the highest standard of service to our customers, ensuring that tasks are completed promptly, accurately, and in line with existing Service Level Agreements. 

Critical to your continued success with Belgravia Leisure will also be your ability to collaborate with and learn from other members of your team, made up of 9 dedicated Payroll professionals. Your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills will also see you in good stead to build and maintain positive working relationships with not just your colleagues, but partners of Belgravia Leisure as well as other community stakeholders.
